Care for some ice cream? Rocky road or cookies and cream flavor? I think we will need a cup or two for the things I would like to discuss. I see that Air BnB now a days are used for lower cost of accommodation. I don’t blame them, I actually like the idea of having my own pool to swim in and slouch on the couch in my undies without having to worry that a housekeeper could be knocking anytime soon.

Often my brides are getting air bnb for their ‘get ready’ location. The idea of having all her entourage in one big house is convenience especially for us make-up artist. No more worrying of entourage arriving late for their timeline appointment or missing from their photoshoot. Just a tip for my bride-to-be: If your wedding is on summer and you’re planning to rent an air bnb, make sure that there’s air conditioned in the house- por favor. I have experienced 24 people in the house without air conditioned. Every person was asked to bring their fan, but even if there’s 20 fans in the house it’s still won’t do the job.

Air conditioned room/house for your get ready location is very, I mean very important during summer weddings. Why?

1. Your mind is already busy thinking about your wedding day and feeling scorching hot will not ease that stress mind if yours.
2. Your make-up will definitely not stay fresh, not even to the time of your photoshoot. (even if your make-up artist retouches your makeup a million times, it will still not be fresh as you keep wiping your face from sweating.)
3. You would rather look fresh and blooming when your husband-to-be sees you.
4. Everyone and you importantly is happy and cool.

Imagine working your butt off under a sweaty hot weather using hot tools at the same time. Body heat + Hot Tools + 20 people = ICE CREAM PLEASE! Now let me finish my cup of ice cream. Enjoy yours!
